Midground Plants
Midground aquarium plants sit between the low foreground carpet and the tall background, typically growing 10 to 25cm tall.
They add structure and colour to the middle of the aquascape and help the layout transition smoothly from front to back.
This collection includes stem plants like Ludwigia, prized for its striking red colouring, alongside Bucephalandra, a slow-growing epiphyte that also works well attached to hardscape in the midground area.
