Taxiphyllum 'Flame Moss' is a distinctive moss known for its irregular, upright growth pattern, which often takes on a flickering, flame-like shape when tied vertically to driftwood or branches. This unique growth habit sets it apart from more typical trailing mosses, making it a popular choice for adding drama and texture to hardscape features. Supplied in a 100% sterile invitro pot by Tropica, this plant is free from algae, pests, and snails, making it a safe choice for shrimp and delicate aquariums.

Flame Moss is easy to grow and doesn't need CO2 to thrive, though moderate lighting and CO2 will encourage denser, faster growth. For the best flame-like effect, tie it vertically to wood or mesh rather than letting it trail; regular trimming keeps the growth compact and encourages the upright, flickering shape to develop.
