Littorella uniflora – Invitro Aquarium Plant
Littorella uniflora, commonly known as Shoreweed, is a low, rosette-forming carpet plant with narrow, dark green, cylindrical leaves. Native to shallow lakes and ponds across the UK and Europe, it spreads via runners to form a dense, grass-like foreground carpet, making it a great alternative to more delicate carpeting plants. Supplied in a 100% sterile invitro pot by Aquafleur, this plant is free from algae, pests, and snails, making it a safe choice for shrimp and delicate aquariums.
Littorella is easy-going and adaptable, growing well in both tropical and coldwater set-ups, and doesn't require CO2 to thrive, though it will spread more quickly with good lighting and nutrients. Its tough, low-growing habit also makes it a hardy choice for UK biotope-style aquascapes.
