Cholla Wood – Natural Aquarium Decoration
Cholla Wood is a natural, dried cactus skeleton sourced from the fallen branches of the Cholla cactus, native to the deserts of North America.
Its natural hollow, open structure makes it a fantastic addition to aquariums, providing shelter and hiding places for shrimp, small fish and fry. It also makes an excellent surface for aquatic plants and mosses to attach to.
Cholla Wood is especially popular in shrimp tanks, where biofilm naturally develops on its surface, providing an additional grazing area for shrimp.
