Betta Floating Lounge (Zoo Med)

The Zoo Med Betta Floating Lounge gives your betta a comfortable resting spot just below the water's surface, exactly where they'd naturally choose to rest in the wild. It's moulded from smooth, durable plastic with a naturalistic bamboo-look design, with no rough edges to snag or damage delicate betta fins and tails, and it floats freely around the tank, adding a bit of enrichment as it drifts.

In the wild, bettas live in shallow, densely vegetated water such as marshes, floodplains, and rice paddies, often in low-oxygen conditions. This is why they've evolved a labyrinth organ that lets them breathe air directly at the surface. The Floating Lounge gives them a natural perch to rest on at just the right depth to make use of this, without having to fully surface.
