Pontec PondoAir Set 200 Pond Air Pump

The Pontec PondoAir Set 200 is a compact air pump kit for smaller garden ponds up to 2,000 litres. Oxygen levels can drop quickly in hot weather, especially overnight, and a steady stream of bubbles from an airstone is one of the simplest ways to keep your fish comfortable. The kit comes with everything you need to get it running straight away.

The rising bubbles move the water and get oxygen into it, which helps goldfish and other pond fish through summer heatwaves and stops the water going stagnant. In winter, it helps keep a small area free of ice so gases can escape from the pond. Pontec is made by OASE, so you're getting a reliable pump at a lower price.

Setting it up

Place the pump somewhere dry and sheltered, above the level of the water, so water can't run back down the airline into it. Set the airstone on the bottom of the pond in summer, or on a shelf in winter so the deeper water stays undisturbed and a little warmer for your fish.
