Marsilea crenata – Invitro Aquarium Plant
Marsilea crenata is a compact, clover-leaved carpeting plant, often known by its Dutch name meaning "four-leaf clover" for its distinctive leaf shape. Smaller and slower-growing than Marsilea minuta, it's particularly well suited to nano and small aquariums, where its neat, low profile won't overwhelm the scale of the tank. Supplied in a 100% sterile invitro pot by Aquafleur, this plant is free from algae, pests, and snails, making it a safe choice for shrimp and delicate aquariums.
This species can be slow and tricky to establish, and it needs high lighting to grow low and carpet-like rather than reaching upward; without strong light, it tends to grow taller instead of spreading. Once settled, however, it's a slow, steady grower that sends out runners to gradually fill in the foreground.
