Echinodorus 'Reni' – Invitro Aquarium Plant

Echinodorus 'Reni' is a compact, colourful cultivar of the classic Amazon Sword, valued for its broad, ruffled leaves that shift from green through to rich reddish-brown and copper tones under good lighting. Its bold colouring and rosette growth habit make it a striking midground to background centrepiece, adding warmth and contrast against greener planting. Supplied in a 100% sterile invitro pot by Aquafleur, this plant is free from algae, pests, and snails, making it a safe choice for shrimp and delicate aquariums.

Like other Echinodorus, 'Reni' is a heavy root feeder and benefits from a nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs to fuel strong growth and colour. Moderate to high lighting brings out the best reds and coppers; under lower light, it will stay a plainer green. Growth is moderate, and established plants will regularly send up flower stalks and plantlets that can be used to propagate new plants.
