White Wizard Snail

The White Wizard Snail is a truly striking and unusual freshwater snail, prized for its beautiful pale shell, elegant shape, and peaceful nature. Unlike common pest snails, this is a large, slow-moving, and decorative species that makes a stunning feature animal in planted and aquascaped aquariums.

White Wizard Snails are excellent scavengers, helping to consume leftover food and light algae while leaving plants completely untouched. They are also livebearers, meaning they do not reproduce explosively like many other snails, making them ideal for aquarists who want a snail without the risk of overpopulation.

Their calm behaviour, impressive sise, and unique appearance make them perfect for community tanks, nature aquariums, and display aquascapes.

• Temperature: 22–28°C

• pH: 6.5–8.0

• Requires moderate hardness and calcium for healthy shell growth

• Supplement diet with algae wafers or sinking foods if the tank is very clean

• Acclimate slowly to avoid shock

• Like all invertebrates, sensitive to copper-based medications
