Tetra Pond Wheatgerm Sticks – 4L (780g) Resealable Bag

A complete floating food for pond fish in the cooler months. The sticks are made with wheatgerm, which is easy to digest and gives fish quick energy when their metabolism slows in cold water. They suit autumn and spring feeding, as well as winter, when your usual pond food can be too rich for fish at low temperatures.

Suitable for koi, goldfish, shubunkins and other pond fish. The 8 to 12 mm sticks float on the surface, so you can see your fish feeding and avoid overfeeding.

Switch to wheatgerm sticks when the water temperature falls below 10°C. Feed small amounts once or twice a day, only as much as the fish will eat within a few minutes. Fish generally eat very little when the water is close to freezing, so reduce feeding further as it gets colder, and return to your normal pond food when the water warms up in spring.
