Taxiphyllum sp. 'Spiky Moss' – Invitro Aquarium Plant

Taxiphyllum sp. 'Spiky Moss' is a striking moss variety named for its pointed, needle-like leaf tips, which give it a spikier, more textured look than typical mosses. Its irregular, branching growth habit makes it a great choice for adding natural texture to hardscape, whether tied to driftwood and rock or grown into a dense, uneven carpet. Supplied in a 100% sterile invitro pot by Tropica, this plant is free from algae, pests, and snails, making it a safe choice for shrimp and delicate aquariums.

Like most mosses, Spiky Moss is easy to grow and doesn't need CO2 to thrive, though moderate lighting and CO2 will help it grow denser and faster. Regular trimming keeps growth compact and encourages a fuller, bushier look rather than long, straggly strands.
