SF biotope set Betta Natural Botanicals

The SF Biotope Set Betta is a mixed pack of natural botanicals chosen for betta tanks. It typically includes catappa leaves, longan leaves, dried acorn caps, a small piece of driftwood and spiderwood branches. Together they give your betta resting spots near the surface, hiding places and plenty of cover to explore, in a natural, planted-style layout.

As the botanicals slowly break down, they release tannins and humic substances that lightly tint the water and help recreate the soft, tea-coloured conditions bettas come from in the wild. The surfaces also develop a fine biofilm over time.

Before adding to your aquarium, rinse carefully. Soaking or boiling the pieces for a few minutes helps them sink and releases excess tannins.

As a natural product, size and appearance may vary, and the exact contents of each set may differ slightly. Adding botanicals to your aquarium can affect water parameters and release tannins into the water, so we recommend regular water testing when using botanicals.

Format: SF Biotope Set Betta, natural botanical mix of catappa leaves, longan leaves, acorn caps, driftwood and spiderwood branches.
