Seachem Prime 250ml

Seachem Prime Water Conditioner – 250ml

Seachem Prime is a complete, concentrated water conditioner for both fresh and saltwater aquariums. It removes chlorine and chloramine from tap water, and also detoxifies ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, which makes it useful for water changes, new tank set-ups and cycling. It is non-acidic, so it won't change your pH.

Prime binds ammonia, nitrite and nitrate and makes them harmless to your fish, while still leaving them available for your filter bacteria to use. The effect lasts for up to 48 hours. It also detoxifies heavy metals found in tap water at typical levels. Seachem says it is up to 5 times more concentrated than many competing products, so a little goes a long way.

Use 1 capful (5 ml) for every 200 litres of new water. For smaller volumes each thread on the cap is about 1 ml. It's best added to new water before it goes into the tank, but it can be added directly to the aquarium, using the aquarium volume for the dose. Use it at start-up and whenever you add or replace water. A sulphur smell is normal.

Format: Seachem Prime water conditioner, 250ml bottle.
