NT Labs Medikoi Junior Wheatgerm with Garlic is a complete, low-protein pond fish food in 3mm pellets, made for feeding in the cooler months, from late autumn through winter to early spring. The smaller 3mm pellet suits smaller koi and pond fish.
When the water cools, fish metabolism slows and they grow more slowly. The lower protein content (21%) helps fish through winter while reducing the risk of an unsightly slick forming on the surface of the pond. Garlic is included to stimulate the appetite. You can alternate it with Medikoi Health during the cooler months for a wider range of supplements.
Feed twice daily during winter, giving only as much as the fish will eat within about 10 minutes. Do not feed if the fish are dormant in very cold weather, and do not overfeed.
The recipe contains wheat, wheat feed, wheatgerm, maize, maize gluten, soya, salmon oil, garlic and calcium carbonate. Analysis: crude protein 21%, crude oil and fat 5%, crude fibre 5%, crude ash 6%.
