New Io Diffuser - Acrylic Series - In-Tank Co2 Diffuser - Small

The New IO Diffuser Acrylic Series is CO2 Art's advanced in-tank diffuser, built around their Nano CO2 Mist Technology ceramic membrane. As CO2 passes through the membrane's porous surface, it's broken down into a fine stream of tiny bubbles, giving a much larger surface area for efficient dissolution into the water column and less wasted gas.

The compact, clear acrylic body is designed to blend in against the aquascape rather than stand out, and the ceramic membrane is fully replaceable, so you can keep the diffuser performing at its best long term. It comes complete with two suction cups for secure positioning against the glass, and is compatible with all CO2 Art resistant tubing.

This Small size is suited to tanks below 150L (40 gallons), making it a great fit for nano and mid-sized planted tanks. Simply connect your CO2 tubing to the diffuser and allow it to soak in tank water for at least 2 hours before pressurising — set your regulator to a minimum of 2 bar as a starting point. It's normal for the diffuser to release larger bubbles around the ceramic ring at first; over the first 24 hours the ceramic pores fill with water and bubble size settles down to its optimal, fine mist.
