A single small Cladophora aegagropila moss ball (marimo), a compact piece of living greenery that suits the smallest tanks. It isn't a true moss. It's a form of algae that forms a velvety green ball.
Moss balls help to absorb nitrates and phosphates, and they are easy to keep and care for. Their small size is ideal for nano tanks, shrimp tanks, bettas and glass bowls, and shrimp love them. Moss balls can also be split into smaller pieces and stuck onto rocks, wood and ornaments.
Care
- Rinse it out occasionally in old tank water to keep it fresh.
- Roll or turn it now and then so it keeps an even round shape.
Each ball is natural, so size and colour can vary. Small balls are nearer 4cm.
Format: Single moss ball, small (approx. 4cm).
