Add a soft green accent to your aquarium with a medium Cladophora aegagropila moss ball (also known as a marimo). Despite the name, it isn't a true moss. It's a form of algae that grows naturally into a velvety green ball.
Moss balls help to absorb nitrates and phosphates, and they are easy to keep and care for. They sit happily on the substrate in nano tanks, shrimp tanks, betta tanks and even a simple glass bowl, and shrimp love them. Moss balls can also be split into smaller pieces and stuck onto rocks, wood and ornaments.
Care
- Rinse it out occasionally in old tank water to keep it fresh.
- Roll or turn it now and then so it keeps an even round shape.
Each ball is natural, so size and colour can vary. Medium balls are approximately 6cm.
Format: Single moss ball, medium (approx. 6cm).
