Morning wood 85g Repashy Gel mix

Repashy Morning Wood is a Xylivore gel premix, purpose-built for wood-eating fish such as Panaque and Panaqolus plecos, which rasp on driftwood in the wild not just for algae but for the fibre it provides. Cellulose powder from wood fibre is the main ingredient, combined with triple the gelling agents of Repashy's standard formulas, giving a super firm, long-lasting gel that holds up well to determined rasping.

Alongside the cellulose base, the mix includes seaweed meal, alfalfa, spirulina, rice and pea protein, rice bran, brewer's yeast, stinging nettle, and a blend of fruits and flowers, plus a full range of vitamins and minerals for balanced nutrition. It provides a minimum of 20% crude protein and up to 8% crude fibre.

To prepare, mix 1 part powder with 2 to 3 parts boiling water, stir well, then let it cool and set into a gel at room temperature. Once set, it can be cut into pieces or dried into a slower-release jerky. Made-up gel keeps in the fridge for up to two weeks, or in the freezer for up to six months. This pack makes up 85g (3oz) of dry mix.
