Live Bloodworm Large 100ml Bag

Fresh live bloodworm in the large size, the red larvae of a midge, for fish with bigger mouths. Fish love them, but they are rich, so we treat them as an occasional treat rather than an everyday food. They sink to the bottom, so fish have to root around for them, which suits bettas, cichlids, loaches and catfish.

Pre-order only: orders must be placed by 10am on Monday. Your food is sent from a fresh delivery to us, dispatched on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning that week. Local customers can choose click and collect. During very hot weather we may pause shipping, as live food does not travel well in the heat.

Care after arrival

• Keep the bag cool and out of direct sunlight. It can be kept in the fridge.
• Opening the bag and freshening the water helps the food last longer.
• Only take out what your fish will eat in a few minutes.
• Live food normally lasts 5 to 7 days from the Friday delivery to us, so plan to use it within the week.
