Cryptocoryne crispatula – Invitro Aquarium Plant

Cryptocoryne crispatula is a tall, hardy background plant with long, narrow, gently wavy leaves that add graceful movement and height to an aquascape. Its slender, ribbon-like foliage creates a natural, jungle-style backdrop, and it's a reliable choice for scapers wanting a taller crypt without the demands of some other species. Supplied in a 100% sterile invitro pot by Tropica, this plant is free from algae, pests, and snails, making it a safe choice for shrimp and delicate aquariums.

Like other Cryptocoryne, crispatula is undemanding and adapts well to a range of water conditions, making it a solid choice for low-tech set-ups. It doesn't need CO2 to thrive, though moderate lighting and regular fertilising will encourage fuller, healthier growth. As with most crypts, newly planted specimens can experience "crypt melt" when moved to new water conditions — this is normal, and the plant will recover and push out fresh growth once settled.
