Cryptocoryne Beckettii 'Petchii' Tropica

Cryptocoryne beckettii 'Petchii' is a compact, easy-going crypt valued for its wavy-edged, olive-green to reddish-brown leaves and neat, low-growing rosette habit. It's a versatile foreground to midground plant that spreads gradually via runners, gradually filling in gaps over time to form a natural-looking group. Supplied as a well-rooted Tropica pot, it's ready to plant directly into substrate.

Like most Cryptocoryne species, 'Petchii' can be sensitive to being moved or to sudden changes in water conditions, sometimes shedding its leaves in response (known as "crypt melt"). This is rarely fatal, and the plant typically regrows fresh leaves within a few weeks once settled. It's an undemanding plant that tolerates low light and doesn't need CO2, making it a reliable choice once established.
