A bag of four mixed size Cladophora aegagropila moss balls (marimo), a good-value way to add some natural greenery to your aquarium. They aren't true mosses. They're a form of algae that forms velvety green balls.
Each bag contains one medium, one small and two mini moss balls. Moss balls help to absorb nitrates and phosphates, and they are easy to keep and care for. They suit nano tanks, shrimp tanks, betta tanks and glass bowls, and shrimp love them. Moss balls can also be split into smaller pieces and stuck onto rocks, wood and ornaments.
Care
- Rinse them out occasionally in old tank water to keep them fresh.
- Roll or turn them now and then so they keep an even round shape.
Each ball is natural, so size and colour can vary. Mini balls are approximately 2cm, small balls nearer 4cm and medium balls approximately 6cm.
Format: Bag of 4 moss balls: 1 medium, 1 small and 2 mini.
