Bamboo Cover – Natural Botanical

Bamboo Cover is a pack of at least 3 natural bamboo sheaths, the outer coverings that wrap the stems of large bamboo canes. Their curved, shell-like shape makes a natural cover for the aquarium floor. It gives shrimp, fry and shy fish somewhere to shelter and hide.

Over time the surface develops a fine biofilm for shrimp and other grazers to feed on. Lean the pieces against hardscape, lay them over the substrate, or layer them with leaf litter for a natural biotope look.

Before adding to your aquarium, rinse well and boil or soak. If the pieces float at first, keep them soaking until they waterlog and sink.

As a natural product, size and appearance may vary. Adding botanicals to your aquarium can affect water parameters and release tannins into the water, so we recommend regular water testing when using botanicals.
