Anubias barteri mini coin 1-2 grow Tropica

Anubias barteri 'Mini Coin' is one of the smallest members of the Anubias family, prized for its neat, rounded, coin-shaped leaves and rich dark green colour. Its diminutive size and slow, compact growth make it a natural fit for nano aquariums and foreground aquascaping, where larger Anubias varieties would quickly overwhelm the scale. Grown from tissue culture, this Tropica 1-2-Grow! pot arrives free from algae, snails and pests, so it's ready to attach and grow with none of the usual quarantine faff. Like other Anubias, this is an epiphyte rather than a substrate plant: the rhizome should never be buried, as this can cause it to rot. Instead, tie or glue it to a piece of driftwood or rock, where it will anchor itself naturally over time. Thick, leathery leaves make it naturally resistant to algae and grazing, so it holds up well even in tanks with herbivorous fish or shrimp. It's a genuinely low-maintenance plant, coping happily in low to moderate light with no CO2 required, and rewards patience with new leaves every couple of months rather than a fast flush of growth. Its small scale and slow pace make it especially popular for nano tanks, aquascaped foregrounds, and shrimp tanks, where it also doubles as useful shelter and grazing surface.
